About the Instructor

Marcy Griguoli has been teaching private piano lessons to children and adults for more than 20 years. Originally from Southwick, MA, she was raised in a musical and theatrical family. Her parents started her with piano and acting lessons at age six and those were immeasurable gifts that are still giving today.

Her love for the arts had Marcy participating in and earning awards for performances with local and regional bands and theatres from a very young age. She also went from being every kid's favorite babysitter to working with thousands of children as a camp counselor for six years at STaGE Childrens Theatre in Feeding Hills, MA. All the while, she was making a name for herself as            the fun piano teacher.

Marcy graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2000 and went on to perform professionally with music, theatre, and TV/film. She has lived a life full of theatre and music in NYC, LA, and now continues to do so in Massachusetts with her family. She currently resides in Wilbraham with her husband, Jack, daughter, Ashley (13), and son, Andrew (9). Both children love learning to play the piano and theatre just like their Mom.

Perhaps the most important thing to know about Marcy is how much she values her job as a piano teacher and how very much she cares about her students. The time she spends with each student is a blessing and watching each one grow as a musician is endlessly rewarding.
